Youtuber GingerOfOz has finally made the portable GameCube a reality and we are here for it.
Speaking on Twitter he says:
Asking about the specs of the device he states that the internals are actually a Wii motherboard which support backwards compatibility. With an impressive library available to play on this device he's also added the nostalgia of the classic boot up screen. The display is currently 480p with headphone support.
Relating to the build he states in his YouTube video he's made it to the size of the Gameboy Advance SP.
The original concept was made by a college student named Demond (known as "gcpguy22" on Instagram). It was posted as a joke to see if people would believe it was real. Now it is.

The Youtuber has previously made mock ups in the past of a portable PlayStation 2 Console and a Wii.
The only downside to the device is lack of battery, with just 1 hour 30 mins play time. We're sure with time this can be easily improved.
