In response to one of his viewers asking about Zlaner and the recent incident surrounding Zlaner’s seemingly “magnetic” while approaching a player in Rebirth Island, Faze Swagg intimated that Zlaner should always have a monitor camera and a foot camera on him.
While Swagg is undoubtedly being sarcastic in his response, it is a sentiment that a lot would agree with. The clip in question (in the video below) is one that is extremely suspicious. Multiple content creators have tried to explain how it could just be aim assist or a glitch in the game that Zlaner had the aid of, yet as BadBoyBeaman explains in his video, none of them have been able to emulate the clip with any kind of accuracy.
Someone who has managed to emulate the incident with some accuracy however is BadBoyBeaman and his “secret agent”.
Though the replication of the incident took place on Caldera, BBB and his helper have used the ship on the west coast of Caldera to emulate the movement of the player in the Zlaner clip. BBB’s clip shows a player jumping off the ship onto the beach, with the person who recorded the footage aiming at the player without aiming down sights.
What is instantly noticeable is the similarity in the accuracy of the aim. BBB’s secret agent’s aim is magnetically stuck to the opposing player for the entire jump. How was this emulated with such accuracy? It was apparently easy; it was done using aimbot!
For more info on how exactly the clip was emulated, and to see a side-by-side comparison of this clip and Zlaner’s clip check out BadBoyBeaman’s video above.
To Faze Swagg, it may seem like something to joke about, but cheating in this game is beyond anything we have ever experienced as online gamers, and that, to most is pretty serious! One thing we would probably agree with Swagg on is that there is no point using cameras for Zlaner.
Aimbot would most likely be undetectable by a camera, absolutely anything that can be plugged into a PC can be used to toggle aimbot, whether that is a foot pedal, a paddle on the back of your controller, or just your fire button in game. Aimbot is not something that a camera would be there to detect.
Zlaner has made no formal response to this incident, but if he does, we will be sure to update you here, and on the BBB Gaming News YouTube channel!
