Could this saga be finally drawn to a conclusion?
Last year Zlaner made a proposition to BadBoyBeaman during his Hackusation response videos. He offered to fly BBB, along with his film crew out to his home country, Canada, so that he could prove to BBB finally that he was not cheating and was in fact completely legit.
At the time this proposal was made COVID 19 restrictions in both Canada and the UK (where BBB lives) made this an untenable suggestion, however with most restrictions now lifted in both countries there is a possibility that we could see this meet up happen.
BadBoyBeaman posted a video to his channel on April 1st (no it was not an April Fool prank). In the video BBB shows that Zlaner in a recent live stream had explained to a viewer that the offer he made had not time scale. BBB then goes on to explain that the restrictions that initially stopped him from accepting the offer are no longer in place and that given this fact he is now prepared to accept Zlaner’s invitation.
Though the first proposal was essentially a bet offered by Zlaner with the stakes being BBB’s YouTube channel, it is unsure exactly what will be at stake for either of the creators if Zlaner sticks to his word and makes this meeting happen. With anything like this there is sure to be negotiations and agreements made before hand to ensure fair play and an even field between the 2.
If Zlaner can prove that he has been a legitimate player all along, this meeting will put to bed over a year of speculation surrounding whether he is cheating in Warzone. If he does not prove this, then surely this would add weight to not only the suspicion around Zlaner himself, but the other creators BBB has raised questions about. Either way, there is a lot at stake for both with this meeting and if it does finally happen it will certainly have fans from either side glued to proceedings.
What happens if Zlaner does not abide by his word?
As it was Zlaner’s own proposition to make this happen, it would be a bad look for him to shy away from it now that everything is in place for it to become possible. For BBB’s fans and anyone who has suspicion about Zlaner’s gameplay it would surely be seen as a confirmation that he is cheating, and this offer was nothing but a bluff. His own fans may suggest that too much time has passed but given the restrictions in place and the fact that Zlaner himself said that there was no time limit on the offer, it would be hard to see this as anything other than Zlaner backing away from fulfilling his own proposal.
One way we might see Zlaner back out of this is by using the negotiations over the terms of how this meeting will go ahead to demand outlandish things that BBB is never going to accept. In negotiations between boxers for a big fight, you often see one fighter price themselves out of the fight by demanding more than is reasonable for the sole purpose of blowing up the negotiations and cancelling the fight in a way that saves face.
